about the role
Position: Licensed Massage Therapist
Schedule: 2 days per week to start, with opportunity for additional days as clientele grows.
Hourly Rate: $60+ per session, $16/hr (non-session work)
Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.
The ideal Candidate
Required Skills & Experience
Current Alaska Massage Therapist license in good standing
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, contraindications, and safe massage practices
Ability to customize treatments based on individual client needs and goals
Excellent communication and client service skills
Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
Daily Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, customized massage therapy services
Consult with clients regarding their needs, preferences, and treatment goals
Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment room
Follow all sanitation, safety, privacy, and professional standards
Help create an exceptional experience for every client
